Pastor's Update

Dear Community Baptist Church,
A team of five brave souls threw themselves in the middle of God’s awesome worldwide mission scene. Whenever there is a step of faith there is a deep breath before the plunge. Pray today for Jennie, Joel, Matthew, Michelle and Stephen. We are an active part of the ministry they are experiencing. The apostle Paul called the role we are allowed to play the “labor of love”. Let us labor for them on our knees. As a Church our borders are expanding by the efforts of our members. This week, we are not a local church in support of mission work; we are a local church immersed in missions. Today we need to pray, but we also need to consider our part in the local evangelism that must take place. As God uses the hand of this body with five fingers engaged in work in South Africa, the rest of the body needs to be hard at work in Edwardsburg, Niles, Granger, Elkhart, Cassopolis, Mishawaka and wherever the Lord takes you.
